The French delegation, including Paul Bourdillon, Executive Director for Central Asia and European countries, Vincent Amar, Chief Financial Officer for Europe Central Asia, Alain Carbonel, Chief Operating Officer for Central Asia and the Caucasus, Umid Akbarov, Business Development Director for Central Asia, and Julien Maigne, Suez International SAS Tashkent Project Manager, took part in the meeting.
Representing the host side were Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Bobur Khodjaev, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Akhadbek Khaydarov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzsuvta’minot, Jahongir Normukhamedov, alongside other key stakeholders.
During the meeting, the discussion on water and wastewater management projects emerged as a focal point, underscoring the critical need for sustainable solutions in these areas. Both parties deliberated on potential collaboration frameworks aimed at enhancing water infrastructure, optimizing wastewater treatment processes, and implementing innovative technologies to address pressing environmental challenges.
Commenting on the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to establish strategic partnership relations to promote Uzbekistan's environmental agenda and achieve sustainable development goals.
