Participation of the Uzbekistan Delegation in the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers

The Uzbekistan delegation put forward specific proposals to strengthen regional stability, expand trade and economic partnership, and enhance exchanges in the fields of science, education, and culture. The parties expressed their readiness to fully and effectively utilize existing potential, jointly implement new projects, and continue close cooperation for the prosperity of their peoples.
During the visit, meaningful meetings were held with several partner countries of the Islamic world, with discussions conducted within the framework of common interests.
In particular, prospects for close cooperation were discussed in productive meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Fuad Hussein; Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov; Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi; Minister of Justice, and of Constitutional and Religious Matters of Mozambique Mateus Saize; Foreign Minister of Syria Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani; and Foreign Affairs Adviser of Bangladesh Touhid Hussain.
During the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and Senator of Pakistan Ishaq Dar, special attention was given to the immense potential for joint implementation and to injecting new dynamics into bilateral relations. A Practical Action Plan was signed between the governments of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, which will serve as an important mechanism for translating strategic decisions into practical results and will provide a foundation for the consistent promotion of initiatives and projects between the parties.
