Construction of the Ritz-Carlton in Tashkent

On May 27 of this year, Mr. Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with the leadership of PASHA Real Estate, a leading Azerbaijani development company, and Marriott International, a global hotel operator based in the United States.
The meeting focused on the progress of the $200 million project to construct a modern five-star hotel and apartment complex under the Ritz-Carlton brand in Tashkent.
As part of the project, a master plan has been developed in collaboration with UK-based firm Benoy. Earthworks have been fully completed, including the removal of 300,000 m³ of soil, perimeter piling has been installed, and foundation pouring is currently underway.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to take all necessary measures to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the project. They also expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation and launching additional joint ventures in the future.
