A meeting was held with representatives of the State of Kuwait delegation

The Kuwaiti delegation included Khalid Al-Mutairat, Counsellor on Embassy of the state of Kuwait – Tashkent, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kuwait Investment Authority, and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
From the Uzbek side, the discussion was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Jasur Karshibayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the State of Kuwait Ayubkhon Yunusov, Chairman of the Board of UzAssets, Bobur Abdinazarov, Director of the State Assets Management Agency Akmalkhon Artikov, and other responsible officials.
During the meeting, the parties discussed joint efforts to implement infrastructure projects and expand economic cooperation between the two countries. They expressed interest in deepening partnerships in key sectors, including green energy and the development of startup projects in the green economy to stimulate economic growth and sustainable development.
Particular attention was given to opportunities for further development of public-private partnerships (PPP), as well as reforms aimed at supporting youth entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the parties emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation to strengthen bilateral relations and implement joint initiatives.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on developing specific steps to implement the discussed projects and initiatives.
